OVERVIEW
Cleveland Clinic’s Valve Imaging Summit is a premier multimodality imaging course, uniting the heart team – cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, cardiac imagers, echocardiographers, APPs, PA’s, nurses and more.
Join us for in-depth, case-based learning on established and emerging cardiovascular imaging technologies along with focused lectures, debates, and keynote presentations. The program is structured to allow attendees to closely interact on a personal level with national and internationally recognized leaders in valve disease and imaging including case-based presentations, learning lab workshops, and live echo scanning.
After the education sessions, enjoy all Miami Beach has to offer.
Hear why past participants recommend the Valve Imaging Summit:
- “They are the ‘best of the best.’ Thoroughly enjoyed learning from faculty.”
- “Extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and approachable faculty.”
- “Data provided and techniques learned were very impressive and will improve my practice standards.”
- “I am new to structural heart/valve disease. This summit significantly increased my knowledge and understanding of mitral, aortic, and tricuspid diseases, and treatments available.”
- “This summit allows me to more effectively diagnose valvular disorders and discuss treatment options with patients, their families, and health care team members.”
- “As a cardiac sonographer, this workshop emphasizes the importance of the quality of my images and work.”
- “Learned how to better interpret images and data, which strengthens my ability to discuss with peers.”
By Attending, You Will Be Able To:
- Evaluate and integrate anatomic and multimodality imaging findings to guide a tailored, patient-specific management strategy for mitral regurgitation, including transcatheter edge-to-edge repair (TEER), transcatheter mitral valve replacement (TMVR), and surgical repair approaches for primary and secondary mitral valve disease.
- Evaluate the most recent innovations in atrial fibrillation and left atrial appendage.
- Discuss role of innovations in TAVR and SAVR in aortic stenosis.
- Evaluate and integrate anatomic and multimodality imaging findings to guide a tailored, patient-specific management strategy for tricuspid regurgitation, including transcatheter edge-to-edge repair (TEER), transcatheter tricuspid valve replacement (TTVR), and surgical repair approaches for primary and secondary tricuspid valve disease.
- Review recent advancements in HFpEF and new diastology guidelines.
- Describe advances in cardio-oncology, recurrent pericarditis, radiation heart disease, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, cardiac amyloidosis, sarcoid and constrictive pericarditis.
- Assess emerging approaches to artificial intelligence in echo and prediction of disease.
- Collaborate across the interprofessional heart team to integrate clinical, anatomic, and multimodality imaging findings and develop coordinated, patient-specific treatment strategies for valve disease.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
The course is designed for cardiologists, cardiovascular surgeons, cardiovascular anesthesiologists, residents and fellows, cardiac sonographers, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and anyone with special interest in clinical cardiology and echocardiography.
The 29th Annual Valve Imaging Summit is endorsed by the American Society of Echocardiography
